Signing In to Skype for Business: A Step-by-Step Guide

Are you having trouble signing in to your Skype for Business account? Do you keep getting a popup asking you to confirm the server's trustworthiness? This article will walk you through the correct process of signing in to Skype for Business, eliminating any potential issues along the way.

The first step is to retype your email password and then click Sign In. A popup window will appear, asking you to confirm that the server is trusted for your sign-in address. However, this is incorrect and needs to be changed. To fix this, simply change the user name to your Enterprise Messaging (EM) Logon by appending @yourcompany.com to it (e.g., 'username'@yourcompany.com). Note that the User name field is populated with the same information you provided for the Sign-in address.

Clicking OK will continue the sign-in process. On this screen, a new User name field will appear alongside the Sign-in address and Password fields. Most users will see the following popup:

If you prefer to specify your sign-in status, you can do so by selecting 'Sign in as' from the dropdown menu.
